Supply Chain Innovation Award 2025
Call for Submissions: January 6, 2025 – March 1, 2025

ELIGIBILITY & SUBMISSION CRITERIA 
CSCMP MEMBERSHIP
  • Participation in the Supply Chain Innovation Award (SCIA) is exclusive to CSCMP Premier Members.
    • The submitter must be a Premier Member at the time of submission.
    • All team members must be enrolled in Premier Membership by late May, prior to virtual presentations.
    • Basic members are not eligible. For membership inquiries, contact membership@cscmp.org or call 630.574.0985.
  • Membership Fees Overview: (click here to purchase membership)
    • Submitter: $299 (Premier Membership).
    • Finalist Team Members: $299 each (Premier Membership).
    • EDGE Registration for Winners: $1,895 (member rate after $900 speaker discount) or $2,495 (non-member rate).

OWNERSHIP AND ORIGINALITY
  • Submissions must be original and not infringe on third-party intellectual property or rights.
  • Each company may submit up to two case studies.
 
EDUCATIONAL CONTENT
  • Submissions should educate and highlight innovative supply chain solutions, not promote products or services.
  • Finalists’ case studies cannot be presented in any other EDGE session track.
  • Submissions appearing as sales or marketing material will not be considered.

CLIENT / CUSTOMER REQUIREMENT
  • Submissions may come from a single company or collaborative partners.
  • Entries from 3PLs, consultants, or solution providers must include tangible business results and name a client/customer as a co-presenter for both virtual and in-person presentations.
 
CASE STUDY SUBMISSION
  • An innovation can be submitted to SCIA only once.
  • Present a solution developed in the past 12 months.
  • Submit a case study (max 1,750 words) that includes:
    • Problem/Challenge
    • Solution/Action
    • Results, naming the client/customer if applicable.
  • Case studies should demonstrate:
    • Effective, innovative solutions.
    • Educational value (not promotional).
    • Significant impact and results, including cost savings, revenue generation, and customer satisfaction (with data/examples).
    • Practical, relevant insights for today’s supply chain professionals.

FOCUS AREAS OF INNOVATION
Examples of relevant innovations include:
  • Developing new processes or technologies to improve performance.
  • Strengthening supply chain collaboration or relationships.
  • Synchronizing supply and demand or managing supply chain cycles.
 
VIRTUAL & LIVE PRESENTATION
  • Finalists must deliver two presentations:
    • Virtual in June (to the SCIA Committee).
    • Live, in-person at EDGE.
  • Approval from your organization is required for team members to participate and release the case study to CSCMP (we will only share with the SCIA Committee).
  • Attendance Requirements:
    • Obtain necessary approval for each team member/author to participate BOTH virtually and in-person at EDGE 2025.
    • The winner will accept the award on stage and participate in a photo session.

DEADLINE
Submissions must be completed in full by March 1, 2025, 11:00 PM CT to qualify.
 

2025 DETAILED TIMELINE

  • Jan 6 – Mar 1: 2025 submission period
  • Mar 3 – Mar 28: Committee reviews & selects finalists
  • Apr 4, 2025: CSCMP notifies submitters of selection status
  • Apr 18, 2025: CSCMP announces finalists
  • May 1 – May 30: Finalists work on presentation
  • Jun 2 – Jun 30: Finalists present virtually to Committee
  • Jul 7 – Aug 1: Committee selects winner
  • Sep 10, 2025: Finalists upload presentations to Orchestrate
  • Oct 7, 2025: Finalists present live at EDGE 2025
  • Oct 8, 2025: Winner is announced and awarded at EDGE 2025 

Important Note:

CSCMP has removed extension periods for all awards. Submissions must be completed by the March 1 deadline. No extensions will be granted.
